As geographers we are always on the look out for some interesting visual material which can in fact make 'sense of our world'. Here's an idea:If you enter the NOAA site (www.NOAA.gov/) click on "Satellites" (its about half way down), then click on "image of the day" - You will get a Satellite image which is updated daily. The images vary from place to place and are often about issues or themes which we don't always hear about.

Why not use them to change your desktop background every day! Nobody can say your not keeping up with the times!
